Hey guys, for those of you that have taken chem over the summer/winter, can you please emphasize on how difficult it is as opposed to taking it during fall or spring. At my school winter session is only about 5 weeks, so I'm really wondering as to how difficult it possibly is. Thank you.

I took Chem 1 and 2 last summer, back to back. My school has 4 week summer sessions. It was a lot of work timewise bc you are in class and lab for 5 or so hours a day 5x a week and then studying the material afterwords but I thought it was manageable because that is the only thing I had to focus on. If you are someone that needs a lot of time to process information it may be too fast of a pace but if you think you can grasp material on your own pretty quickly definitely go for it.

Wow 4 weeks? And I thought 5 weeks was bad lol but thank you very much for that info.

Summer school was tough for me, I took gen chemistry with no background and trying to learn the material was really hard esp with the time given, every topic a new one but it might be helpful to get a study partner. I had one but I was goofing off too much 🙂
