I went straight to Chem II in second semester freshman year because my school let me skip Chem I b/c of AP scores. I did...okay (B). Took OChem I, had to take the semester off, then did biochem and did okay too (B+).

So what am I looking at for chemistry courses? Both Orgo I and II? Retaking Chem I and II? I'm nontrad so don't have the wiggle room I did back in school. I could also just, you know, apply to schools who will pretend not to see my chemistry history.

You should for sure take ochem 2. I would also just burn through gen chem 1 for good measure in order to keep my options open. Don't retake a class if you got a B in it - that's just a waste of time.

I went right into chem 2 in order to go through the sequence faster and get into ochem 1 & 2.

Decided to take chem 1 after speaking with a bunch of schools -- many seemed to require, specifically, 8 hrs chem, 8 hrs physics, etc. and rather than stick out by seeking an exeception, taking an advanced chem course instead of chem 1 (which might not be accepted by some schools), I just bit the bullet and took chem 1 as one of my final pre-med classes.
