Chicago high school

No I'm going into freshman year of high school next year and I wanted to see if anyone's are good for med stuff

I heard that if you don't go to Northside, there's no way you'll become a doctor.

-__- oh ya I totally heard that too. Because becoming a doctor is ALL about high school.

Not sure if there are high schools near you that have medical-focused programs, but most people usually just take the most advanced science-related courses their schools have to offer.

Thanks for the info.

If you didn't go to Pritzker's Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre Med school, you're screwed.

What if i went to Almuya's Pre-Pre-Pre-Non but i guess is pre since it has the word pre like 7 times-Pre-Pre-Preception-Pre Med School?

Yeah, most high schools don't really offer a whole lot of stuff to prepare you for medicine, at least not anything that will be useful to you. Just go for being involved, take the rigorous math and science courses but remember to be well rounded as well. Make yourself better to make your undergrad the cheapest possible - so the med school sticker price shock won't punch you in the face as hard.

There isn't a whole lot during high school that you can do to prepare for medical school outside of establishing study techniques and explore what you do and do not enjoy.

Have fun in the Caribbean.

Shut up.

Ok thank you i hear that there is one high school that is just on medicine but i really dont want to go there. But thanks for the info and Haha like the last thing you said to I'm No Superman.

To be honest high school really doesn't matter when in comes to med school. Just keep a high GPA and decent ACT to get academic scholarships when you apply to undergraduate college. The best thing you can do is put yourself in a position with little debt.
