hi can any one tell me about the cheapest places to stay in chicago for the uic interview and also what mode of transportation there.as i will be coming from out of the state,so please help me on this..your help will be greatly appreciated.

if you're coming from midway, just take the train. i forgot what stop but there's cheap hotels (holiday inn) along differents lines. Also, Polk station is just across from UIC college of Dentistry so commuting there wouldnt be a probable if you study the city's transit system...personally i took the orange line from midway to the library then the pink line going to polk...Chicagot is a lovely city, and the transit system they have there is very conventient to out of town commuters.

I stayed at Marriott Medical,they have free shuttle to UIC. It may not be inexpensive but it is the closest to UIC and you can save on taxi.From airport i took the airport express,it is a van that takes a group of people from airport to downtown hotels... way cheaper than taxi and i took the same after my interview to the airport.Hope it helps you.
