any insight on pros/cons of using change healthcare, optum or officeally as a clearinghouse for submitting insurance claims?

Over the past year I've gotten multiple passive aggressive letters from Change healthcare informing me that the the distribution of my billing codes did not match my peers (i.e., I'm billing a higher proportion of higher-level codes than my peers). Seemed to be an implicit threat to stop billing higher level codes for fear of an audit.

Not sure if using a company that does this might be a conflict of interest when you're using them to submit and collect claims.

Its strange are you saying they have an arrangement with health insurance companies to screw the doctors? I know Optum was trying to buy change but it got blocked
