I know this has been asked many times, and I know because I remember reading them! I've searched around and haven't found the right answers.
Does the post-bacc school matter? I know it cannot be a community college, so it's ANY college/university. Therefore, under ADCOM eyes, is it okay if I go from a private school in Boston (BU) to a smaller state school at home in the midwest? On one hand, I'm very confident that I can do well in those classes at the state school, while I'm unsure about HES. On the other hand, I don't want adcoms to think I'm running away from mediocre grades.
I could stay in Boston and take classes at my current school or at HES, but I kind of want to save money (yes, HES is cheap, but I'm talking about living and travel expenses), but mostly I want to be near home for a while because I've had enough of the city! Guess you can't take the country out of the boy...
Realistically, I'll suck it up and go to whatever school can help me the most to get into med school.
Thanks!
