Choosing schools with good financial aid?

Is there a sticky or list with:

A} schools with good need based grant aid
B} schools with good merit based grant aid

If adding schools beyond 10-15 to the list, we might as well include better aid 😉

The easy thing to do is for you to find out where you are accepted first and then look at the financial aid website to find out what is available or wait for your package. There are select schools that give significant aid out, but not that many. Also, are you sure you qualify for need-based aid? Parental income and assets do play a role in that calculation.
