I would like to know other people's opinions on the importance of location for 3rd and 4th year. At A&M there are 4 campus choices and we are about to send in our requests. Basically I would rather live at one location (Round Rock, TX) but it is at small hospitals. The other choices are at major medical centers (Dallas, TX and Temple, TX). Is it worth choosing a larger center in a less than ideal location? Does it really matter at all?

You can do your 3rd and 4th year in RR? That's crazy, I grew up in Round Rock. What hospital, Round Rock medical center? I had no idea they had students there.

I go to a school with regional campuses for 3rd and 4th year as well and am still trying to figure out which seems better. Right now I'm leaning more toward the smaller town ones because it seems like the students who go there end up with MUCH more hands on experience which ends up being really valuable for residency.
