What did you expect? I'm actually surprised it doesn't come up more often.
I practice hospice in a non-MAID state, but I get asked about it.
My general answer is that my goal is to manage your symptoms well enough that you don't need that option, and I am pretty darn good at it. But if you still feel like you do, there are some states that allow you to visit.
FWIW, I'm really tired of going to EMS/FIRE funerals.
They're nearly as successful as we are, but there are a lot more of them than there are of us.
Lost a colleague (HPM) a couple of years ago, but she used a different method.
