What is the major acid base disturbance in liver cirrhosis
is it metabolic alkalosis & respiratory alkalosis
or metabolic acidosis(bcoz of decreased lactate metabolism)

I don't believe the liver is a major direct player in systemic acidosis. The indirect link may be through hepatorenal syndome ---> decreased acid excretion.
