I'm going to guess and say that the question is whether the program allows enough flexibility for interviews.
I know HealthCorps does allow for flexibility as long as you complete the hours, but City Year is more structured. I know the individual centers have a lot of control over their programs, so I would contact your interested locations directly and ask.
I could be entirely wrong about your question though. Maybe you want to know whether you need to interview to get into City Year or maybe you want to know if City Year is a good thing to talk about at interviews.
