Hi, I?ve been trying to get the real answers to the new requirements about the step 2 and CSA for IMG?s. If a student graduates in June 2004 and takes step 2 by December 2004, does he still have to take the CSA?
If anyone knows a website with good info. on this, please let me know.....it will be very much appreciated!

No one has to take the CSA ever again. It's not even administered anymore.

You have to take the Step 2 CS and Step 2 CK. Of course, the CS is very close to what the CSA used to be.

For an IMG, the system hasn't changed much after the implementation of the Step 2 CS. We don't have to take the toefl and there are more test centers, that's it.

Ok, well, maybe, I wasnt clear. I meant the new Step 2 CS exam then. What I heard is that if you take Step 2 by Dec. 2004, then, you will not need the CS included....does anyone know if this is true and if you have a website with this info, please post it here....
So, the TOEFL is completely gone? that is news to me also!
Please let me know if you know any other more current info. for int?l. med. graduates!!!
THANKS!

Peeshee,

I'm 99% sure there's no way of getting out of the CS. I mean, all 5 test centers are filling up fast for the year. Why would people pay such an amount to take a test they didn't have to take?

The last 1% of me is thinking, holy ****, what if he's right?

Don't you think you might have heard of someone who took the CSA and is looking to get that permanently validated; and for that he needed the Step 2 CK by december?

This is unrelated, but I remember of a Bellkicker calling my national team a "LOSER TEAM"?🙂 I'd really love to see a public statement of regret

Ha ha 😀

Yeah, maybe calling the Greeks a loser team was a little premature.

Consider this a public apology. 😳

Hey..........

Where's the Russia match? 😉

It didn't have any effect on us, so it was ommited. Now tell me, did you guys set up that match with Sweden? 😕

Ok, anyone who saw that match would tell you that neither team gave an inch. Denmark-Sweden is a Scandinavian classic and both teams wanted to win real bad.

I'll agree that once the score was 2-2 with 3 minutes to go, both teams were just looking at the referee, waiting for him to blow the last whistle. That part was a little embarrassing but I think it would have been the same no matter which teams were playing.

Oh, they sent a Danish TV crew out into the streets of Rome to ask the average Italian what they thought about the Denmark-Sweden game. It was hilarious. Half the people just walked away in anger and one older guy started crying, saying that the teams from the North had "stepped on all that was beautiful".

Geez, get a grip, Italy. 😎

Oh please, the Scandinavians set this one up like one of their movies. It was all like ?Hey look at me I am shaking my stupid handheld camera up and down, giving you a headache, so this is just like real life. Yeeeeeah, its like I am doing a documentary or a home video. I really am attending an actual family feast; this is why it?s so ****ing boring. You wont know it?s a script until the end credits come up?. Yeah right! 😎

Italy would have never set a match up (not even in a situation where both teams have worked hard in order to be in a position to go through together and have demonstrated that this is indeed well deserved by their previous 2 performances.), not in a trillion years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!never!! 😀
SHAAAAAAAAAME on you! You actually preferred going through yourselves instead of sending Italy(the heroic triumphant team that defeated BULGARIA!!) through ,at your expense? +pity+
Mafiosi 😡

Totti should be declared a national hero if you ask me.
Next time, I believe the Italian captain should spit at his Swedish or Danish counterpart right at the exchange of banners. :meanie:

I dunno, I saw that match, and although it was balanced, the 2-2 is suspicious, since it was the only score that would send Italy out. Especially if you consider that in both matches the final result was shaped in the last minutes. There's also a conspiracy theory that both matches were set up, bc both the Scandinavians and the Italians were afraid that the other one is gonna set up their match. Not that I cried for Italy, they didn't play one good match, plus I was seeking revenge for that 7-0 of Juventus versus Olimpiakos in the last CL. I'd just be happier if WE got the chance to kick them out at a later stage🙂
