Just wanted to clarify my understanding of step 2 test date planning - I know from reading these forums it's not required to have step 2 CK completed prior to submitting my ERAS application in mid-September, and I know some, but not all, programs require a step 2 ck score for interviews.
my questions are as follows
--Can I submit my application if I have taken step 2 but do not have the score yet? I know that I can submit it if I haven't even taken the exam yet, and am assuming I can still submit if I have taken the exam but do not have a score in hand yet - just wanted to clarify this because it is a subtle difference in situation.
--If I get my score after submitting my application to ERAS, does the score automatically get sent to my schools or can I designate the schools to receive my score after I've gotten it and seen what it is? How about if I have a score for step 2 in hand prior to the ERAS deadline? does it automatically get released to schools when I submit ERAS in mid September? or either way, do I have to specifically choose to send my score to schools?
