I only have FA2012, so I wanted to make sure all the details in the front are still valid for this year. Thanks in advance.

1. 7 blocks, 46 questions
2. 45 minutes total of break time, can be increased with unfinished block time and tutorial time
3. (What exactly is in the tutorial? Similar to what NBME tests do?)
4. Break time is divided to how you see fit...? Or do they schedule the big lunch/dinner section at a certain point? Thinking I want to take my big break/meal after 1st 4 blocks...
5. Do they provide headphones/earbuds or do you bring your own?
6. The whiteboard they provide... I heard you have to turn in each one, do they not let you just erase? lol.

Any other tips are welcome 😎

Break time can be taken at any time you want in between blocks. So for example you could take a 5 minute break after each block if you wanted. Or you could do 2 blocks then break for 10 minutes. Or do 4 blocks and break for 35 minutes etc. I ended up with an hour and 15 minutes of break time at the end of my exam as I finished a bunch of blocks pretty early, that's with taking a break every 2 blocks and taking a slightly longer one half way through for eating some lunch.

You cannot erase the whiteboard! I believe they scan everything you have written on it and it is part of your 'file' that they submit with your testing information. Just raise your hand and grab another if you need. They give you 2 I believe so that is 4 working pages.

Headphones are provided as well as noise cancelling ear muffs.

Tutorial is similar to NBME, most people suggest you just skip to the part where it tests your headphones - check them - then skip through the rest.

As for any tips you should be fine, just keep in mind that when planning breaks you should account for the sign in/sign out process which is probably 3-4 minutes, can be longer if someone else is ahead of you or gross incompetence of the Prometric staff or the god damn fingerprint scanner not working properly!! 😛
