Hey all!

I'm looking for recommendations for an easy online chemistry credit. I'm applying to a school that requires 13 credits and I am currently sitting at 12.

The "easy" chemistry courses are 12.0 credits of the gen chem + lab and organic chemistry + lab series. It seems this school may be trying to force you to take an extra lab or upper level chemistry course. Perhaps check University of New England? I know they offer lots of online pre-reqs. I've attended 3 different schools and none of them offers 100- and 200-level chemistry classes outside of the aforementioned though.

I think they are trying to get me to take an additional lab credit. I found a local community college that offers and intro to organic chemistry and biochemistry with a lab, and since I never took a biochemistry lab I’m just going to use that as my reasoning for taking the course. Thank you for your advice!!

Was a biochem major. Definitely interesting to learn about the mechanics of biochem testing and gives me an extra dimension of interpretation of medical literature because I know how the tests are done. Personally don't really like running the tests though. For me there was a lot of accidentally stabbing through acrylamide gel, wondering if my gels actually had a current running through them, hoping I had remembered to blank out my spectrophotometer. I liked analytical chemistry better. Titrations are easy and even meditative, somehow.

Lol, this is me in all wet lab situations…except for physical biochem, the greatest lab of all time, where we got to use bomb calorimeters.
