Took my last major requirement course last semester, but I have to take at least one class this semester so that I can still live in university housing (as they require you to be at least a part time student) and complete my other extracurriculars at school. Would it be okay if I just did research for some units, or would adcoms think this looks weird? Thanks in advance!

Do adcoms think WHAT looks weird? That (you) want to live in university housing in the summer as opposed to subletting with friends? That (you) want to take a class in the summer? That (you) want to complete your extracurriculars at school? That (you) want to do research for credit?

I don't get the source of anxiety, and as previously noted, adcoms won't care.
