I know... I was really frustrated. I interviewed this past Thursday (1/20). After my first interview one of the other interviewees said that his first interviewer told him that the class is full and we were vying for waitlist spots. I verified that with the admissions secretary and my second interviewer. I was pretty pissed not only cause I liked Tulane but because I spent all that cash for a waitlist spot. Fortunately, the waitlist spots aren't ranked, so it doesn't matter when you interviewed when they're pulling from the waitlist.

All the best to you and your friend.

I don't think it's true. I had a friend interview on the 21st of January and she was told the class was full but got in directly a week or two later.

U Ciny: per adm office by phone
U Buffalo: NOT FULL YET. I WAS ACCEPTED TODAY, INTERVIEWED LAST WEEK.
U Kentucky: Talked to people in admin office (in person, I work upstairs)
UMDNJ- NJMS: per Dr. Heinrich
UMDNJ-RWJMS: by the massive waitlists/rejection and inside info
Tulane: per adcom members at interview (01/20)
Loyola: ?

!!!!Important!!!! Don't forget what "the class is full" means. It only means that they have sent out enough acceptances to fill the class. Kentucky alone sends out almost 50% more acceptances than it has spots, and they told me that they see a lot of waitlist movement. So interviews and acceptances (along with waitlists and rejections) will go on for a while, until all of those lucky SOBs with multiple acceptances decide to give some of them up.

surprised MCW hasn't been added yet. They are notorious for having interviews for waitlists only

I had my interview 2/2 and they said we were the last group not interviewing for only waitlist. So, now they are full. 😛

This has been mentioned on interview feedback, but add Temple to the list as well. My interviewer told me there were only waitlist spots now, and this was confirmed by the admin during the info session.

Anyone know if Baylor is "full", or are they still inviting for interviews?

I think the last interview day is at the end of Feb, might have been last Friday. Sorry 🙁

This is silly. I am a fourth year at Tulane and I would venture to say that over half of my class (probably more) was on the waitlist at one point. Some people don't even get accepted until July, but it's an acceptance nonetheless. I interviewed in mid-February and was lucky enough to be accepted within a matter of days, so they do continue to accept late into the season (I doubt they've changed their habits significantly since I interviewed). No matter what you tell yourself you are interviewing for, your chances of getting in now versus in September are probably barely, if at all, different. Do you have any idea how many people interviewing at the beginning of the season end up on the waitlist? Do you think they want to give out all their acceptances early? Just give it a shot if you think you really like the place. And Dopa, don't be too disheartened. Movement will happen. I promise.

Does anyone happen to know if UMASS and/or Rosalind Franklin are full yet? I'm interviewing there in March.

Also, I heard that the about 50% of the UMASS entering class last year came from the waitlist. So, even if you are waitlisted...at least thats not a rejection!
