Dont know if this thread has already been made, but
I would like to get a survey of the class of 2006 stats...
How many schools you applied?
How many schools you interviewed?
How many schools accepted and waitlisted?

My stats: 3.18 undergrad gpa, 3.57 grad gpa, 28 MCAT.
Applied to 2 D.O and 2 M.D. programs.
Interviewed at both D.O. programs and 1 M.D. program
Waitlisted at one D.O. and the 1 M.D. program
Accepted at both D.O. programs
Attending AZCOM

Attended 2 Interviews (PCOM and NYCOM)

Can everyone also add their GPA, MCAT, ECs (only if you want to)..I know that every applicant is different and so many factors are assessed, but I would still like to know the basic stats of everyone that was accepted... THANKS 🙂 SPUNKY

Applied to 10 DO, about 25 MD. Was interviewed then waitlisted at W.Virginia MD, then rejected. That was my only interview at MD. I interviewed at CCOM, LECOM, COMP, AZCOM. I was accepted to all of these, but Im going to CCOM. My stats are:
26S MCat
3.3overall, 3.4 science

I have a ton of clinical experience as well as good DO letters of rec., I think I interview well too, which is my strong point.

I was flat out rejected by PCOM,TUCOM, Ohio, MSUCOM, UMDNJ, and I declined an interview at UNECOM. WHy i was rejected at these schools before even getting an interview and accepted at the other DO schools I don't know. I guess it helped that I applied to a lot of schools.

Obviously MCAT scores and GPA aren't everything........
Get as many extracurriculars as you can!!! The more you have done and have been exposed to, the better your chances on acceptance!!
