What is everyone doing for their going away party?

I'm starting out around 8pm next friday for dinner and drinks at a restaurant downtown (right next to the ER where I work). There will be a very large group for this, it appears. From there, I'm headed downtown to hit the bars. Keep in mind that I was a bartender for six years when I was in college, and I still know many people who work in the industry. I should have the hook-up.

After the bars close, I'm going to recharge my batteries, and rest up for round 2.

Round two begins when night shift gets off work. We're meeting at a 24-hour joint around 8am for breakfast, and more drinking.

I will then do my last triathlon as a Texan the next day.

I have friends coming in from other cities for this. I suspect it will be one of the greatest parties ever. At least for a 30-year-old.

What does everyone else have planned?

The only ones we have to say bye to are some of my husband's family. We are going to his sister's house in a couple hours for a barbeque and the kids will go swimming in their pool. We will just hang out, eat and just chat. So nothing near as wild and exciting as yours will be. 😉

for a 30-yr-old?!?

that is an insane weekend for ANYONE of ANY age!

ill pray for you.😀

Not as crazy as you, but I have about 10 music shows that I will attend in the span of 4 days next week.

Going to Cape San Blas in Florida on the 4th-10th. Nice and quiet...should be heck of alot better than that craphole Panama City (bloody jellyfish).

Panama City sucks ass. I went there for spring break one year in college, and the whole time I was there, we were wondering why the hell we didn't just go to South Padre Island, which is about 1/3 the drive from Austin.

My big send off was last night at the bar I've been working at since I graduated last year. We left at 6am. And I'm just now capable of normal human activities, as long as they don't require being out of bed for too long.
