Hola,
So had a couple of other questions. As I've stated in a previous post, I'm a non-traditional student transitioning from a finance/accounting career to embark on the dentistry path.
1.Attached below is a tentative schedule of prereq classes for the next two years (geez, long time...but worth it). The plan is to give myself two opportunities at the DAT- end of Spring 2014 and end of Summer 2014- for 2015 matriculation. Appear realistic?
2. Still having some reservations about community college for prereqs as I spoke to a lady from VCU and she consistently reiterated "To make your application package more competitive, I'd advise you to go to a four-year university." I work FT and the only college I've seen that offers night/weekend classes is the local community college. That, and the per credit tuition is 4x as high at a four-year university, somewhat restrain me. That being said, would I really be that much more at a competitive disadvantage should I enroll in CC? Any people who took ALL their science prereqs at a CC who would care to share their story?
Thanks!!
