Classes "in progress"

Say you take a class in Spring /Summer of the year you apply.. Do Dental schools ask for these transcripts when they are avaivable or do they only look at the gpa's of classes you have completed once you applied. So for example if you appled in april/may- all of your classes in the previous fall and winter quarters would be counted for sure , how about the ones "in progress"?
