I will be a third year in undergrad this upcoming fall and I would like some info on what classes to take. I am a microbio major and have already completed chem, ochem, bio, and biochem. I would like to take my DAT in January so I am going to be studying during the fall semester.

So, I have to take Microbio for my major and I heard that Microbio lab goes well with the class and makes it easier than taking it in separate semesters. Each are 3 credit hours. I also am taking a third semester of italian (required). Now here is my question. On top of that should I take human physiology (I heard it was a great class for DAT, plus I can use it towards science electives), or should I take statistics. I mention statistics because I feel that it might be difficult to study for the DAT while taking three science classes plus a foreign language. Any thoughts?

Take physiology! Pay attention in class and treat it as if its a DAT prep class...you will know everything on such a detailed level that you could probably get away with just skipping the Kaplan chapters on physiology altogether. Plus, it shouldn't be too bad...Italian III was easy anyway, at least with my old professor! 😛
