I have a question about CLEPs

If you take a CLEP for your prereqs does that count towards your prereqs for med school? Does it only count if your instituition offers credit for those CLEPs?

I figured that if you CLEP out of a science you probably still have to take the lab even though the CLEP may be for say GenChem I and II and worth 8 hours.

I'd plan on taking the actual courses. Don't count on any exemptions or credit your college gives you as counting towards pre-med requirements.

I had this situation come up. I had a 3 hour CLEP for Physics I. Since there was no lab I had to take it anyway to satisfy the prerequisites.

when you took that physics...did you just take the lab portion or the entire class..because my university offers them separate
