clevidipine
Started by epidural man
Anybody using cleviprex?
I have. Nice drug. Like nicardipine without the waiting. It'll be more popular when it gets reformulated and gets rid of the lipid. It's still very expensive and nicardipine is generic now I think.
Yeah one of my cardiac attendings loves it, we havent had it in months though.

Many times. I don't find that it has a significant advantage over other IV CCB's other than you can shut if off and lose the effect quickly. Nothing that justifies its cost however.

We don't have it and I thought it was a Europe-only type of drug until now.
But from this description it sounds like a really expensive version of nitroprusside.
