Clinical Experience from Canada?

Despite being a U.S citizen, and attending college in the U.S, my family lives in Canada. As such, I did all my clinical volunteering in Canada during the past 4 summers when I was back home.

Will this hurt me as an applicant or will schools generally equate experiences in the U.S and Canada? All my shadowing has been done in the U.S, so I can at least show exposure to the U.S system through that.

Thoughts?

That's okay. You were called to service to others and you did it where you were located rather than feeling the need to do clinical tourism in some low resource area.
