For those who have used clinical micro made ridiculously simple, how is it possible to memorize all the facts about the bugs: gram stain, disease, intra/extracellular, etc? Not to mention the antibiotics? I did learn them in micro, but I've forgotten them already.

Read this book straight through. Then if you get time read it again fast (although once is plenty). Then you hit FA hard and memorize everything in there. MRS should help you understand everything and FA should guide you to the memorizing part. I think that is the best strategy. IF you need more help, the microcards from lippincott are very good.

For info on how to study - check out the guide on gotmedbooks.com

Once you are through MRS and want to memorize micro - USE this program (facts in a flash - link below), it has questions and answers for almost all of micro. It really helps with the memorization stuff. With MRS, FA, FIF (factsinaflash), you should be solid.
