I have a few questions for this thread.
What do you think of geropsychology? I was thinking of doing research about the care of elderly patients, especially those suffering from dementia and the best ways to help them (ex. prevent aggressive behavior, etc).
If you've done clinical research, how did you become involved with it and what was it? Did you contact professors at your school, another school, contact hospitals or what? Please be specific.
Also what type of research have you heard other students doing. I want to do something exciting and it can be time consuming, I'm willing to commit a few years to it. I'd rather work with people than at a bench but I'm up to hearing about those experiences too.
