I need some advice with AACOMAS (applying only D.O.)
I had my application returned to me correct some transcript issues. I'm glad because I want to fix something.
I am currently an allied health profession (been working for nearly three years). I am board certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
Prior to full time work I completed a M.S. program that included four months of full time (40 hrs/week) clinical rotations. I initially included these rotations under ECs. I'm realizing these rotations were not ECs as they were part of my M.S. program. Should I include them in "work experience" or edit my personal statement to include them? These rotations are very important to me because I observed ("indirectly shadowed") doctors of different specialities and how they interact with each other and patients.
It's complicated because the hospital where I work does not include my profession in direct patient contact (some other places do). I work in pathology (diagnostic) labs all day.
