What was the etiology of the arrest? Aspiration from being in Trendelenburg?

I wasn't there during the procedure (thank goodness) but sounds like either the guide wire perforated the vessel or there was an air embolism. Doesn't sound like the guide wire got far enough to irritate the RV even though the patient went into a wide complex tachy rhythm. Bad stuff.

Yeah that's bad.

Usually I only see RA/RV irritation during Swan placements.
