Are the Clinical Vignettes books worth it? I think it might help to see a concept detailed in a case what do you guys think. WHich set would be the best?

THe UCV series is expensive I believe $200 but you also get a picture book. Do you guys think that the series and the picture book will help with the 1-2 books of pics we get on the comlex and the pics on the usmle?

Thanks!

I recommend the Robbin's Review book of questions. These questions are in vignette form. Regardless, you have to have the knowledge base to do well on Step 1, you can memorize vignettes until the cows come home, however it would be more productive if you memorized BRS Pathology, First Aid, and Qbank. Don't waste time on vignettes because Step 1 measures integration of topics and knowledge of fundamentals. If you have the knowledge down, you will be able to apply it under any condition including clinical vignettes.
