In AAMC practice test 5 in the bio section for passage 6, there is a question that requires outside knowledge of the Coelem.

I was wondering if we need to know about the Coelem and other structures in development (mesoderm, etc). This is probably the only section of bio that I completely ignored since I was under the impression that we didn't need to know about them.

remember that MCAt are written based on your college texts rather than review books, so everything in their outline is fair game and if you want knowledge on everything its probably better to read the text book, however that would probably not be very productive for this test.

So don't worry about it?

Dude of course you need outside knowledge to do well on the MCAT. Ignoring germ layers is probably a huge mistake since it comes up in every exam.
