How do you classify on the AMCAS application cognitive science classes like a course called "Drugs: Brain, Mind, and Culture"? It covers evolutionary and historical perspectives, brain chemistry, pharmacology so can I put it under Biology or is it Behavioral Science? Or under Health Sciences?

If you got a bad grade, throw it under Behavioral. If you got an A, throw it under bio. That way it boosts your BCPM.

pyra - this is a UCB class, right? (I recognize it b/c I'm a cog sci major there). Isn't this class listed under MCB? If it is, and you got an A, then by all means, put it into your science gpa. I think, if a class is listed in the sciences, it actually has to be included into your science gpa...

I'm not sure what you are exactly talking about..UCB? are you talking about Berkeley? No this class is at UCSD and is a cog sci class. MCB? Mol Cell Bio? Huh?

Sorry for being so cryptic...

UCB = Berkeley
MCB = Mol Cell Bio

We here at Berkeley have a very similar class. 0ur cognitive science department is part of the interdisiplinary department, therefore the major has very few classes under it's own heading. Classes like Mind, Brain and Behavior (our version of your class) are listed under MCB.

Sorry for the confusion, and good luck to you.
