Anyone have information about Columbia's new curriculum? When do they start in clinic? Have they sacrificed the didactics part of the program to allow students to enter into clinic earlier?

Also, sorry for the title - Tapatalk on the iPhone did it. Can the mods fix this?
 
Based on what they said at my interview, I think the first three semesters are the basic science courses with the med students and some pre-clinical dental courses mixed in. In the fourth semester, there is intensive pre-clinical training to get students working with patients by the summer after their second year.
 
Yes, please mods, change the title. I was ready to give a lecture about the gingival col, probing depths, probing angulationsand surgical procedures to restore interdental papilla and the col until I realized it was about Columbia. I guess I have been studying too much perio this weekend.
