Hey guys -
So I've decided that I should probably start collecting some teeth for UIC. I've searched the forum, but there are so many conflicting theories that I just wanted some simple input as to how to go about this.
Would it be adequate to store the teeth in 10% formalin (buffered or not) until I need them (around 2 yrs)? I figured as long as I have access to formalin, why not use it? I've heard that bleach could possibly make the teeth brittle and difficult to work with so I think I'll steer clear of it.
I guess the bottom line is: what's the best thing to store teeth in for long periods of time? If formalin will work out fine - great. End of story.
Thanks for the input!
