Hi, my name is Lucas B., and I’m involved with the Legacy 2000 program at
Legacy High School in Broomfield, Colorado. This program is designed to
challenge students who have enthusiasm for science, math, and/or
technology by fostering students’ passions and encouraging students to
research ideas, develop ideas, and implement those ideas into reality.
Furthermore, a key component of L2k is learning how to communicate and
network with people.

I am investigating what it feels like to attend University of Washinton, Seattle, and would like
to ask you or another student a few questions. If this is acceptable, please let me know by responding.

Thanks,
Lucas

Are you wanting to know about UW from an undergrad or medical student?

Undergrad or grad is great. Here are the questions:

i. Was college what you expected it to be? Please provide details.
ii. Is your schedule busy? What is your schedule like? Please provide details.
iii. What are the bad parts of college? Explain.
iv. Is college lots of work? What parts are easy and what parts are difficult?
v. Is college independent, or are there lots of groups and help?
vi. Are there any “traditions” at this college? What are they?
vii. Do/Did you participate in activities and we’re they helpful/fun?

The answers will help me tremendously in my college decisions. Thank you.

I'm sorry, I totally did that by mistake. I corrected it to University of Washington, Seattle. Thanks for pointing that out.

With you being an out of state resident your going to have a hard time with acceptance to UW very few out of state get accepted into med scchool at UW unless your from WWAMI.

UW has what I imagine to be the closest you can get to the library at Hogwarts.

Haha this is true.

First off, I'd change your first post, you don't want you name out there with your user name if you can help it.

**edit - on iPad you can't see past the first part of posts in the edit window, so when I'm on my computer I'll quote and answer your questions in line**

Secondly, I attended 5 different universities over my time as a student, and I'll say UW was by far the best. It has its drawbacks, but it was a great school for the most part. However, I will say, if your planning on majoring in chem/bio, get ready for some grade deflation. Most classes (all chem/Ochem/pchem).are graded with a mandatory 2.8 average, and rarely give out 4.0.
