Hey everyone,
So I've applied to Colorado and received an email from them at the end of July:

The University of Colorado Denver School of Dental Medicine has received your 2009 AADSAS application for dental school. Your application is now under review and we will be in contact with you by e-mail to inform you of the next step in our application process.

I haven't heard anything from them yet. So I haven't sent them my application processing fee or anything. What about you guys?

Thanks.

I had the same deal, got a letter from them in july that said they have received my application and it is under review but haven't heard from them since. I called them the other day and they said not to send application fee or anything like that, they are still looking and they have all they need at this point. In my opinion I think that means that bc I am not a resident I am not going to be looked at much (i felt i was still qualified....Science GPA 3.96, AA 21)

ok thanks! yeah i'm not a colorado resident either. we'll see! good luck.

Yes, they e-mail me a few weeks back and said the same thing.

So I received this email from Colorado this afternoon:

"Initial review of your application indicates that further review and reassessment will occur as the admission cycle progresses (approximately mid January-February, 2009). If we are able to give your application further consideration for a possible interview for the 2009 entering dental class, we will contact you at the appropriate time and request the necessary supplemental requirements."

I'm a CO resident, so this is not great news. Could be because I am taking ochem right now, and they want to see how I do this semester? (Hence the reason I got a 17 on that section in August, I taught myself ochem so I could take the DAT). 3.8 GPA, 18 AA--may have to retake the DAT now that I know they aren't looking at me again until at least January.
