Hi all.
During the interview at Columbia/NYSPI, Dr. Oquendo said that we would all get a call from one of the Residency Education Administrators soon to answer any further questions that we had. Just wondering, has anyone gotten this call yet? If so, when was it and when did you interview. I interviewed in mid-December, but haven't heard anything.

Also, should we assume that programs have already made their rank list (suggesting that they wouldn't bother to call at this point)?

n=1, but I did receive a follow-up call from Columbia in late January having interviewed in mid-December

It is probably safe to assume that most programs finalized their rank lists last week if not before, as best I understand the usual process and based on what members of my home program described doing

remember your order of preference is the only thing that matters when making your ROL

I also received a phone call, but I couldn't answer and the message was exactly as they said it would be. Just following up to see if I had any remaining questions/concerns. It was probably just an oversight on their part. I wouldnt worry to much about it.

Thank you both for your input. I attended a couple events with faculty and residents after the interview so perhaps they assumed that I was all questioned out. (At least that's what I'll tell myself, lol)

I got called after my interview at well. Maybe a week or two after.

It was very oh. We think you are wonderful and everyone was so impressed. But, I think it was BS. Cause they called people in the last few weeks, like recruitment calls and I didn't get that.

Columbia can be quite aggressive with their recruitment. After 2 of their calls went to my voice mail (I was in class both times!), they somehow got my wife's cell phone number. Imagine her surprise! I am still not sure how they got her number.

Their calls were all very nice, and they seemed genuine, and I did love the program. I just didn't have any questions to ask them or call them back about.

That being said, I am positive that many people that match there do not get this type of heavy recruitment.

I have realized that I am not so good at this post interview communication thing. It all seems pretty confusing, and I really don't know what to make of any of it.
