Columbia Interview

When did you guys hear back from Columbia? Email or mail?

I heard back earlier this week (monday I believe) and it was through an email

Do you think there will be more interview invitations?

Just got an invitation today for an interview next Friday, Feb 3.

What were the interviews like for those who already attended?

My interview was amazingly chill. The day is set up so in the morning you mix and mingle, then there's a student panel, then they talk to you about classes and clinicals and the program, and then you meet back up with students for lunch. Depending on how many people are at your interview, there will be groups who interview at different times. The interviews are 45 minutes and when you're not interviewing, you'll tour the campus with students. Most of my interview was me asking questions. They just really want to make sure you can speak and hold a conversations. Some of the first years said most of their interview was the professor talking about their children. We talked a bit about my undergrad experience, what I like to do outside of school...but nothing unusual. Definitely nothing to be worried about! Good luck!

I know this is a bit off topic, but does anyone know who attended an interview session at Columbia know if there is a place to store luggage on campus during the interview day? I've been trying to get a hold of Ms. Cynthia Worthington the past few days to find out, but I haven't received a response.

I had the same issue for one of my interviews. Your hotel usually has a room behind the front desk that they will keep luggage for your free of charge. That's what I did and I just picked it up after the interview so I wouldn't have to worry about it.
