according to predents, Columbia has an out of state acceptance of 0%. but on their website they say "Columbia is a private school, and as such we make no distinction between in state and out of state applicants." So they are saying that its fair game for everyone, correct? can anyone clarify this discrepancy?

No it doesn't list anything on predents about in-state/out-of-state.

I got accepted last cycle (2007) and I'm from NJ. So it's definitely not 0%.

Being a private school they don't care about in or out of state. They just want money.

k cool thanks. yeah i just ranked the schools in terms of % Out of state students and was surprised when i saw the 0%.

According to the 45th Edition of the ADEA Guide to Dental Schools,
Columbia's 2006 entering class was 70% out of state and 30% in-state
