Can I catch a flight at JFK at 5:30 pm right after my Columbia interview? How long does it take to go from Columbia to JFK?

Without traffic jam, it should take about 35-45 min. With traffic jam ... no estimation possible.

1 hr by cab (around 45 bucks)
1.5-2 hours by subway (A train to 42nd, transfer to E, take Airtrain)
3 hours in advance by supershuttle

INTERVIEWS: UCLA, UCSF, UPENN, Columbia, UCONN (University of Connecticut), University of Maryland, Boston University, University of Pittsburgh, Temple University, Indiana University, Case Western Reserve University, UMKC, UMDNJ, Nova, I don't recall the rest [I won't go to all interviews]

hi, i think it will take a while to get to JFK....i mean you should leave by at least 2:30 (at least). i don't know how long the interview is....but if it doesn't end by 2ish...i think 5:30 might be pushing it.
