We leave the military later this year and will be moving back to Ohio most likely. I am a legal resident of Ohio and after some debate it seemed like a good idea to go back to Ohio and keep that residency since it is a decent state for medical schools.
Most likely we are moving to Columbus since I would prefer OSU over case western. I have some family in Columbus and Cleveland. The thing is although my bachelor degree will be done before I land back in Ohio, I cannot get all of the science prereqs here. I originally planned on doing harvard extension school , but due to the timeline I would have to wait a year until starting once we landed because of the order of classes and when they are given. Thus that option is cancelled.
So in Columbus, do any of you know of any schools to take the science classes a la carte or post bacc programs although I don't think I need a post bacc program persay. The medpath program from OSU is for students that have already completed all prereqs and taken the mcat, so it is more of a booster and not a program for pepole still needed to take science classes. I do not want to use the Columbus community college because I am avoiding CC's.
Thus far I am not having a lot of luck finding anything. I need to take chemistry classes to include biochemistry, 1 more physics class and an anatomy course.
