ComBank vs. ComQuest

I used ComQuest for Step 3 and feel that the focus of that prep was right on. The thing i saw with the comlex is that they test pretty much the same stuff on both Steps 2 and 3. I am not surprised at all that these test prep companies do not separate their questions since the Step 2 qbank would be missing important information and vice versa. I honestly don't even think the comlex itself changes questions between steps 2-3... Seemed like the same test to me! The comlex exam still asks the same random information on Level 3 unlike the USMLE which I hear has a different focus. I used pretty much all the same books I used for Step 2 and got Crush Step 3 which turned out to be nearly identical to Crush Step 2

Did you like Crush Step 2/3? I'm debating Crush and Boards to Wards. any preference?

Crush step 2/3 is not good for this exam. Crush 2, Crush 3 and USMLE Secrets are all the same book. They are okay for COMLEX 2 but for COMLEX 3, there is more management. They are too light on management and you will fail this exam if you rely on Crush Step 3.

The best book I've seen thus far is the Master the Boards Step 3 Clinical Pocket Guide. A lot of people don't know about this book because it just came out but it's the best book out there by far. It has everything of Master the Boards Step 3 but with more detail and relevance. It's not an easy book to read because each page is very detailed....much more so than Crush.

USMLE Secrets third edition is coming out any day now. I know nothing about it other than it's over a 100 pages longer than the second edition so I think it will contain more detail.

I agree that Crush does not have a lot of details. It's ok for an overview. Also, OMT Recall is useful for OMM
