I am way out of my league, but I wanted to get some opinions on this idea that I'm sure many have had before me. Have any of you thought of employing a couple specialists in the same building you work in, in hopes to collectively be able to give a patient a complete dental care package, instead of having to refer them across town etc?
It is an idea, that is all. No feelings involved. I'm sure many of you have already thought of this and found problems with it, so please respond and let me know. It would simply include a group of dentists chipping in to pay rent and attract more business, because nothing would go unnoticed. I check a patient, see they might be ready for braces, I send a message to the orthodontist on the 2nd floor. If he has time, he works her in or schedules her right away for a consult etc...
Forgive my ignorance if this is a plan for problems, I'm having trouble seeing it.
