COMLEX 2 PE - all dates taken?

So - due to waiting on a financial aid disbursement, I went on today
to sign up for the COMLEX 2 PE up in Philly. Knew I probably wouldn't
be able to be choosy about my dates but never expected this....

All the dates are full from now until end of december with the singular exception of the day before my last (pediatrics) shelf exam.

So - realizing what happens when you 'assume' --- I assume they
will open other dates or dates post-December (I'm not the only one
in this position at least in my class). Can anyone with experience
tell me how often they open up dates? I'm sure they have a list of
who's eligible or not to take it and open dates accordingly?

I would sign up for the date that is available & try to get the shelf postponed. Also if you have a date in hand you can try to swap w/ someone who wants a different date.
Keep checking the website for updates hourly to see if a date opens up (someone else may have to cancel for whatever reason)

more dates opened up today. Pretty annoying how they slowly offer more dates.

Dates should start opening up as more people pass Step 1 and become eligible for Step 2.

Would be nice to grab the new open dates but the financial aid distribution isn't happening until NEXT friday (actually hitting the account). I don't do
credit so here we go.....

A funny thing happened on the way to sign up for the COMLEX 2 PE.....

We had just received our funding earlier this week and I found the time to sit down to register for that puppy.....

So I'm looking at available dates -- there was one in May (way, way too early, plus I'm in peds right now)....none in June/July/August/Septembe r/October/November...
So I'm thinking, "Ok, I'll schedule January 2010 and call the NBOME and beg for them to open a slot".....

Being the dutiful, slightly OCPD medical student, I looked in December.....and looked again...and quickly scheduled for the one slot that had opened up on the 14th of December!!!!!!!!!

Now, if you've read my tale of getting into/through medical school, you'll know I believe that God put me here for a reason and He's carried me through....I believe that the date came open just for me as His way of reminding me He's got it all under control.....

Like we used to say,"Relax, dude, the world'd round, we'll get there!!!!".....

Hey, does anyone on here want to reschedule the COMLEX PE? I'm scheduled Aug 04, 2009 from 2:00 PM to 9:30 PM. I need to push my test to anytime between Sept and Dec 2009. PM if interested.
