How was the comlex exam for all of those who have already taken it? Truthfully, it was not as bad as I was anticipating, of course, I was expecting the worst. I believe the biggest challenge for me was simply having to take an 8 hour exam. Well, I would appreciate it if anyone would tell me what they thought of the exam. I am also taking thet USMLE exam in a couple of weeks. If you have already taken that exam, would you advise me to study different than for the COMLEX?

Study these for USMLE:

-Biochemistry
-Biostatistics
-Genetics

I agree, COMLEX wasn't nearly as bad as I thought. I didn't even think it was poorly written or ambiguous as some people have said. I think they've done a good job emphasizing important points of clinical medicine instead of random molecular bio or hypotheticals (cough usmle cough). I took usmle yesterday, and it was considerably harder, because of the slightly different focus. As a DO I could definitely tell that there are things that our programs do not emphasize, that maybe the MDs do learn. The biggest thing that comes to mind is the the biostats. We had a very minor, 1 credit class at the very end of 2nd year on biostats, that only scratched the surface. USMLE expects a much better understanding of the topic.
