Does anyone have any idea of the time frame in which the NBOME releases our Step II scores, I am at the four week mark and its getting a little old.

it took me 7 weeks.

The usmle was back in 4.

7 weeks, are you kidding me. For the amount we pay to sit for this mockery of a test, you think they could get it to us a little earlier than step 1 when everyone was taking it around the same time.

A friend of mine recently took the PANCE for PA school and had her results back in under 2 weeks, yet we take 4-7 weeks.

i dont see what one tests turnaround time has anything to do with the others.

It does, they are both computerized exams with scores standardized similar to our exams. It is just funny how one set of exams takes 2 weeks to get the scores back, the USMLE takes <4 weeks to get scores back, but the COMLEX takes 4-7 weeks for the CE and 10-12 weeks for the PE.

I had a friend take it a few months ago said it was back in 3 wks. maybe it depends what part of year you take it?

Whats funny is I was talking to a few of my classmates today that took the test 2 weeks before us and they got their results back in a little over 3 weeks. 😡

I think it has to do with the NBOME releasing the scores in clusters of X weeks/exams so if you are towards the end of the cluster you get yours back quicker.
On the other hand, it could be that the NBOME is a sadistic organization hell-bent on making us wait till the last possible minute before we are freed from the shackles that is Step 2 😉

It looks like they just released Step 1 scores today, so hopefully we're not far behind. I wouldn't mind if they waited until my only interview was done in a couple of weeks. That way I don't have to defend my score if it's bad!

It seems that most people are getting their scores on Wednesday but then again my sample size is small (n= 3).

I had to click on view scores, after I did that everything on that front page changed. Good ol'NBOME.

Got my score today too! Took it on 8/8.

My comlex II score is not as hot as my comlex I. So, if possible, I do not want programs to see it before selection for interviews.

If I apply to some more programs now, will the previous programs I applied to get the most updated comlex scores?

Thank G-d the wait is over! I went up a lot. 2 digit score of 81 on Step 1 to 2 digit score of 90 on Step 2! 😍

Hopefully the PE results aren't that far behind... this wait is killing me!
