Hey guys,

Question 1:
I was just wondering...Is there any similar list or compliation of subjects that will be tested on the COMLEX that are available. Just like the MCAT, we had a breakdown of the topics from sciences. I found the NBOME site to be of little use. Thanks!!

Question 2:
What book do you guys use for Anatomy?

Question 3:
How is Northwestern Review compared to Kaplan review?

THIS IS ALL WORD OF MOUTH ... I am in your shoes too!
Q1: Comlex doesn't release very much...notice how all review books are USMLE...therefore, no body knows what to expect.

Q2: The Chung grid/review book, but I am just starting...who knows if it will help (who knows just how much anatomy we will see).

Q3: My school is taking Northwestern, as did the previous class. Not one positive review from upper classman. Some students complain the books are a overbearing. Another upper class utilized Kaplan...they loved it...and their board scores where significantly higher than the year they use NW. Unfortunately, we don't have access to Kaplan

I am not bitter...am I????? ;-)

All the people I know at my school that scored in the >90th percentile on COMLEX I attended NO review. Kaplan came to our school but I threw the books in the trash about a month ago having never opened them. It was insane the amount of material that was in those thick books. First Aid, Step Up, Micro Made Ridiculously Simple (Charts Only) is plenty sufficient for COMLEX. Add Lippincott's Biochem and you are set for USMLE as well. All that can be done in 4 weeks of half day studying easily!!
