Are there any rough ideas on where a score of 600 would fall regarding the percent of correct answers made on the COMLEX step 1?

75%?
80%?
90%?
95%?

Depends on your set of questions, since each question in scored and weighted independently (depends on how everyone else has performed on that particular question). So if you took the COMLEX twice with a different set of questions both times and got the same number correct, you wouldn't necessarily get the same 3-digit score.

At least that's how the USMLE is.

I didn't know that each question was weighted independently. That's pretty neat. Based on the info in your post, I wonder if it's possible to get a 600 if one were to get 80% of the questions right... something tells me that on average a 600 would be somewhere higher than the mid 80 mark, but I'm not sure.

In theory you could get a 600 with a 50%....provided everyone else scored a 30% or less on those same questions.
