I am taking PE at the end of the month, have been working with a friend through a PE review book of cases, noticed that some of the cases in the review book are pediatrics/OBGYN....I figured that the PE would be just like our schools standardized patients (adults, no peds no obgyn), but this book has me thinking otherwise. Does anyone know if we should be anticipating peds/ob on the PE exam?

thanks in advance

I did not have any on my exam. But you should be able to check the NBOME website for the 'Blueprint' of the exam.

No peds cases on the test. Possibly older patients pretending to be teenagers so read the age before you go in. Going thru the book is best way to prepare, good luck!
