Comlex to USMLE coversion

I saw several formulas but I thought they were redicuolous and converted values did not make any sense.

How about this. What do you guys think?

USMLE score - Comlex score conversion for 2010
221 = 500
231 = 550
241 = 600
251 = 650
261 = 700
271 = 750
281-300 = 800
